Congratulations on being accepted as a Chapechape vendor. Here, you will learn how to set up your store properly.
Step 1 – Store Set up Wizard
Whenever you complete your registration you will be redirected to your Store- setup Wizard which will allow you to enter essential data to kick-start your store, here’s a screen-grab of the wizard for better understanding.
Vendors can skip the wizard setup and directly enter the vendor Dashboard, or they can provide the details here in step-wise manner to pre-populate necessary details of the store. It is highly recommended that new vendors set up their account using the wizard.
The entire process of the wizard should take 4-5 minutes and let’s discuss the steps vividly for better understanding.
Store Set up Wizard – Tab 1: Store
In the initial step, you will have to fill up the store details, such as store logo, banner, address of the store, location and store description. Note that few fields will be pre-filled such as store email, name etc which are present as registration field), you can fill up the remaining fields as shown below:
Store Set up Wizard – Tab 2: Payment
This is perhaps the most important step of all where you will set up your payment account, the available payment methods here are PAYPAL, STRIPE and SQUARE.
Whichever payment gateway is selected from the above settings, they will be reflected in this step and you can configure your payment account from here. Then you just have to connect to your account according to your choice selected above.
For every payment method, you will have to fill out the relevant details and move to the next step of policies.
Store Set up Wizard – Tab 3: Policies
In this step, you can enter your store policies like refund policy, shipping policy and cancellation policy. Additionally, you can set the label for the policy tab from here.

Store Set up Wizard – Tab 4: Customer support
As a next step, you can configure or enter your details of customer support, you will be able to enter the phone number, email address and physical address of contact support. Note that Chapechape does not display any of those information on the live website. Only admin will be able to see those information.

Store Set up Wizard – Tab 6: Store social setup
You can also place the links of your social channels in your store. Here’s a screenshot of the page with an example of twitter account being set:

Once the above steps are completed you are all done with the setup and will receive a screen like the following:
Once you click on ” Let’s go to Dashboard” you will be redirected to your respective Dashboard from where you can fill in the remaining or left-over details and here’s how it looks like.
Vendor Dashboard Settings
In addition to the wizard provided above, if and in case you skip any steps you can enter the data from the Settings panel in your dashboard here: Go to your Dashboard -> Settings (as shown below).
You will find similar options provided in the Dashboard as well, and can fill in the required details for setting up the store. Please find the sections highlighted in red to check the fields provided and configure your store accordingly to start selling!
